Lincoln-Way Central dominates Dunlap in girls' lacrosse action

 Lincoln-Way Central rolled past Dunlap 15-2 in a girls lacrosse matchup Wednesday, showcasing a balanced attack and tenacious defense.

Senior Kaitlyn Rossi led the Knights with five goals, setting the tone early and helping Central establish control. Fellow senior Elle Catterson added three goals and an assist, while Nicolette Buck contributed two goals. Becca Schrage and Paige Hesser each scored once, with Schrage also tallying an assist.

Lincoln-Way Central capitalized on 14 of its 22 shots on goal, finishing with a 63.6 shooting percentage. The offense moved the ball well, recording assists from multiple players, including Mia Drzewiecki and Tegan Dudeck.

On the defensive end, junior goalkeeper Adrianna Kelly made four saves and allowed only two goals. The Knights collected 23 ground balls, led by Nora DeFrank and Dudeck with four each. Schrage and Mia McGregor each added three.

The Knights maintained steady control throughout the game, allowing Dunlap limited scoring opportunities. The win strengthens Lincoln-Way Central’s position as a contender and reflects their consistency on both ends of the field.

With momentum building, the Knights look to carry their strong form into the rest of the season.
