According to the match report, Madi Watt and Abby Sudkamp each scored a goal in the win. Sudkamp also contributed an assist, alongside teammate Jules Rafacz. The Knights’ defense maintained a solid performance to ensure a shutout, with notable contributions from defenders Abby Sudkamp, Aly Sudkamp, Miranda Melde, Maddie Krynski, and Jolie Kolosh. Goalkeeper Flynn Meyer delivered a strong performance in net.

"The girls are playing hard and hopefully we are finding our identity as a team," Fahey said. He added that the team's veterans have been instrumental in maintaining cohesion and developing leadership roles. Fahey highlighted that the early part of the season has provided many players with valuable varsity experience. Lincoln-Way Central currently holds a 7-1 record through eight games.

The Knights aim to continue their momentum at home on Thursday, April 10, when they host rival Lincoln-Way East. "We’re hoping to keep up this momentum," Fahey said. "There’s a lot of positive energy on this team, and we’re excited to keep building on that."
