On Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m., former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Jalese Hays’ current college team, the Lindenwood Lions, lost 12-9 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Eastern Illinois Panthers.
The game took place at Williams Field. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season. In their previous game on Saturday, March 14, the Lions lost 12 to 11.
Hays allowed three earned runs over 3.1 innings, recording four walks and two strikeouts.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, at 2:30 p.m. at Williams Field against Eastern Illinois Panthers.
