On Friday, Feb. 27, former Lincoln-Way Central High School standouts Matt Maloney and Michael Maloney’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Cal State Northridge Matadors.

The game took place at Robert J. Hiegert Field. This was their first matchup against the Matadors this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Robert J. Hiegert Field against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
