Lincoln-Way Central secured a victory over Beecher in straight sets on Monday, September 29, with a commanding 25-22, 25-8 win in a nonconference girls volleyball match.

According to the match report, the Knights (14-6) displayed composure in the opening set by fending off a late surge from Beecher to claim a 25-22 win. In the second set, Lincoln-Way Central’s dominance was evident as their serving and front-line play overpowered the Bobcats, resulting in a decisive 25-8 finish.

With this victory, Lincoln-Way Central improved its overall record to 14-6 and demonstrated its strength in away games, where it maintains a 5-1 record. Despite starting conference play with two losses, the Knights’ .700 overall winning percentage highlights their resilience against strong opponents.
