Lincoln-Way Central is set to continue its strong season on Friday, October 10, when the Knights host Andrew in a SouthWest Suburban Red football matchup.

According to available records, the Knights enter the contest with a 4-1 overall record and a 2-1 mark in conference play. They have been successful due to a balanced offense and a defense that has allowed only 38 points throughout the season. Central has excelled at home, achieving a 3-0 record in front of its fans. With an average of 37.8 points per game, the Knights have demonstrated their ability to strike quickly while maintaining control over the game’s tempo.

Andrew High School’s team, with a 3-2 overall record and 0-1 in league action, will attempt to recover after experiencing inconsistent results earlier in the season. The Thunderbolts have conceded 117 points so far, and their defense will face a challenge against one of the area’s most consistent scoring teams.

Lincoln-Way Central has positioned itself as a contender with decisive victories driven by a defense that consistently provides favorable field position and an offense capable of completing drives. Friday’s matchup offers the Knights an opportunity to strengthen their conference standing while maintaining momentum as they approach the second half of the season.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lincoln-Way Central.
