The Lincoln-Way Central girls dance team placed third overall at the Southwest Suburban Conference competition, finishing among the top programs in a highly competitive field.
The conference meet was held Jan. 14 at Andrew High School in Tinley Park, where teams from across the SWS Conference competed in multiple divisions and routines. Lincoln-Way Central delivered strong varsity performances throughout the evening, earning a third-place finish against several established programs and state-caliber competition.
The Knights showcased clean execution, tight synchronization and high energy across their routines, earning consistent marks from the judges in both technical precision and performance quality. Their third-place finish reflected steady scoring across all categories and demonstrated the group’s growth and consistency as the postseason approaches.
The Knights’ junior varsity squad also competed and continued its push toward a conference championship, further highlighting the depth of the program and the development of underclassmen within the system.
Up next, Lincoln-Way Central will compete at the IHSA Sectional on Sunday, Jan. 25, as the Knights look to build on their conference performance and advance in postseason competition.
