Lincoln-Way Central continued its strong run of form Wednesday evening, defeating Blue Island Eisenhower 3-1 in a non-conference matchup on the road. The Knights’ balanced attack and disciplined defense paved the way for another win.

The match took place on October 15, 2025, in Blue Island, where Central quickly set the tone. The Knights grabbed an early lead in the first half and maintained their advantage, adding two more goals after halftime to secure the victory.

According to reports, Central’s offensive rhythm was led by its skilled forwards, who consistently pressured Eisenhower’s back line. The Knights’ midfield controlled possession, while their defense remained organized and limited the Cardinals’ scoring opportunities. With strong play in goal and effective ball movement, Lincoln-Way Central dictated the pace throughout the match.

Now with a record of 14-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play, the Knights have outscored opponents 32-9 this season. The win not only highlights Central’s dominance on the road—where they maintain a perfect 7-0 record—but also reinforces their standing as one of Illinois’ top Class 3A programs as they approach the closing stretch of the regular season.
