The Lincoln-Way Central Lady Knights Competitive Dance team is preparing for the 2025–26 season, which will include invitationals, conference meets, and Illinois High School Association (IHSA) postseason competition.
According to the team’s schedule, they will open the year on October 27 with Opening Day at home in the school’s Athletic Department. Early competitions include the Oak Forest Invitational on November 30 and the Batavia Invitational on December 6, providing dancers an opportunity to showcase their routines away from home.
Lincoln-Way Central will host its own Invitational on December 14 in the Fieldhouse and Main Gym, offering a home-stage performance for the Lady Knights.
The new year begins with participation in the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Chicagoland Invitational on January 3. This will be followed by conference action at the Southwest Suburban Conference (SWSC) Meet at Andrew High School on January 14. Postseason competition kicks off with the IHSA Sectionals on January 24, leading up to the IHSA State Finals scheduled for January 30–31. These events are expected to highlight the team’s depth and talent at a state level.
The season will conclude on March 3 with the Winter Athletic Awards Ceremony at the Fine Arts Center, celebrating both team and individual accomplishments. With a roster of experienced performers and emerging talent, Lincoln-Way Central enters this season focused and disciplined, aiming to make a significant impact in competitive dance.
