The Lincoln-Way Central Knights secured a victory over the Andrew Thunderbolts with a score of 56–34 in a Southwest Suburban Conference boys basketball game.
The game was held on Friday, December 12 at Lincoln-Way Central High School.
The Knights established an early lead and maintained their advantage throughout the game, outscoring Andrew in each quarter. Lincoln-Way Central recorded 14 points in the first quarter, followed by 18 in the second, and concluded with two consecutive quarters of 12 points each. In contrast, Andrew scored 8 points in both the first and third quarters and managed 10 points in the second quarter and 8 in the final period.
Up next, Lincoln-Way Central will travel to face Glenbard East on Jan. 10 at noon.
The last time the two teams met, Lincoln-Way Central earned a 62–58 victory over Glenbard East on Jan. 11.
