On Wednesday, Feb. 25, former Lincoln-Way Central High School standouts Matt Maloney and Michael Maloney’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, lost 1-16 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNLV Rebels.
The game took place at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Rebels this season.
The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. at Robert J. Hiegert Field against Cal State Northridge Matadors.
