Lincoln-Way Central is set to commence its 2025-26 girls wrestling season at the Rookie Rumble Invitational, offering the Knights an early opportunity to demonstrate their skills and depth on the mat.
The matches are scheduled for November 24, 2025.
According to the team’s strategy, Lincoln-Way Central will concentrate on technique, match strategy, and conditioning. The goal is to build momentum and establish a high standard for the season. The team’s focus on discipline and fundamentals is anticipated to aid in excelling against regional opponents.
Following the Rookie Rumble, the Knights will travel to Minooka High School for the Thanksgiving Throwdown on November 26 at 9:30 a.m. Subsequently, they will compete at the Dan Gable “Donnybrook” Invitational at Coralville XTREAM Arena on December 4. These events are expected to provide further opportunities for experience and development against strong competition.
