Lincoln-Way Central girls tennis powered to another conference win Tuesday, sweeping Bradley-Bourbonnais 7-0 at both the varsity and junior varsity levels.
The Knights set the tone early in singles play, where strong first serves and consistent baseline rallies quickly put them in control. Central’s doubles teams followed suit, showing sharp communication and steady play at the net to close out matches in straight sets.
From top to bottom, the Knights displayed impressive depth, as every player contributed to the shutout. The balance across the roster has been a strength this season, with multiple athletes able to step into key roles when needed.
The sweep not only added to Central’s win column but also underscored the steady progress the program has made in recent weeks. With a mix of experienced returners and athletes gaining their first varsity experience, the Knights continue to grow in confidence.
Central leaves the match with momentum, proving once again it can deliver a complete performance against a conference opponent.
