The Lincoln-Way Central girls swimming team secured first place in the Women’s Open division at the 2025 Hawk Relays, amassing 56 points to lead the competition.

The event occurred on October 11, 2025, in Park Ridge, Illinois, and featured top teams from across the region. According to reports from the meet, the Warriors delivered notable performances throughout all events. Emma Rapcan led her team in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.52 seconds. Hannah Quigley excelled in both the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.27) and the 50-yard freestyle (27.24). Allison Schmidt improved her time in the 100-yard freestyle by 1.88 seconds. Additionally, Madison Keane, Morgan Montgomery, Jennavieve Mack, Camille Davies, and Angelina Platos contributed valuable points in various sprint and distance events.

The team achieved five personal bests out of ten entries, underscoring their depth and competitiveness across all lanes. The Hawk Relays showcased a strong performance for Lincoln-Way Central, highlighting both individual talent and team consistency. With this achievement, the Warriors have set a high standard for upcoming meets and continue to establish themselves as one of the area’s leading squads.
