The 48th Annual Tiger Invitational, held Friday, May 1, at Wheaton Warrenville South High School, showcased the depth of Lincoln‑Way Central’s girls program across sprints, distance, and hurdles.

Against elite competition, the Knights delivered a series of gritty performances that underscored their resilience and balance.

In the 1600 meters, junior Mia Forystek stole the spotlight with a commanding victory in 4:57.36, setting the tone for the team’s distance squad. Sophomore Brea Counihan added a personal‑best 5:15.73 for tenth, while sophomore Grace Mathis impressed in the 3200 with a sixth‑place finish at 11:38.46. Seniors Nicole Demma (2:24.79) and Macy Gallagher (2:26.64) contributed strong efforts in the 800, joined by junior Jillian Davies at 2:32.10.

Freshman Lyla Gallagher (1:04.59) and sophomore Paige Keating (1:04.71) showed promise in the 400, adding depth to the mid‑distance group. In hurdles, senior Nora Flynn (18.84), senior Briana Slaney (19.62), and sophomore Grace Crowhurst (19.68) turned in steady marks to round out the Knights’ scoring.

Together, these performances highlighted Lincoln‑Way Central’s ability to compete across multiple disciplines, reinforcing their standing as a program built on depth, determination, and consistency.
