The Lincoln-Way Central girls’ golf team concluded their season with a commendable performance.
According to the team’s report, they competed on Monday October 6th, 2025, at the Pekin Sectional.
The Knights secured fourth place overall, narrowly missing state qualification with a team score of 337.
Facing a competitive field, Lincoln-Way Central demonstrated consistency and composure throughout the day. Multiple golfers delivered steady rounds under challenging conditions. Despite falling short of the top-three cutoff required to advance to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Finals, their performance reflected growth and teamwork throughout the season.
The Knights will now conclude their 2025 season and shift their focus to offseason training in preparation for next fall.
