Lincoln-Way Central defeated Bradley-Bourbonnais 5-0 on Saturday in a SouthWest Suburban Conference matchup, extending the Knights’ strong season run.
The game took place on October 4, 2025, at Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Bradley, Illinois. Lincoln-Way Central (12-3, 5-1 conference) struck early with three first-half goals before adding two more in the second half to seal the victory. The Knights’ defense remained dominant, holding the Boilermakers (10-8, 0-4) scoreless despite several late pushes. With the win, Lincoln-Way Central improved its road record to 6-0, continuing one of the best defensive stretches in the conference by allowing just four goals over 15 matches.
According to upcoming schedules, Lincoln-Way Central will host Sandburg on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before traveling to Andrew High School on Thursday for a 5 p.m. match. Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais will look to rebound at home Tuesday against Lincoln-Way East at 6:30 p.m. and then visit Bolingbrook on Thursday for another conference test at 5:30 p.m.
In their previous meeting last season, Lincoln-Way Central edged Bradley-Bourbonnais 2-1 in New Lenox, a much tighter contest than Saturday’s lopsided outcome. The Knights have now won three straight against the Boilermakers.
