Lincoln-Way Central boys basketball earned a narrow 48–46 road victory over Andrew in a tightly contested conference matchup that came down to the final possessions.
The game took place Feb. 6 at Andrew High School in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Lincoln-Way Central battled through a low-scoring, physical contest, staying composed late to secure the two-point win. The Knights weathered Andrew’s pushes throughout the game and made enough defensive stops down the stretch to preserve the lead. Both teams traded momentum, with neither able to pull away until the closing moments.
Lincoln-Way Central’s lineup featured contributions across the roster, including Alex Panos, Amari Artis, Andrew McIntyre, Cooper Riedl, Desmond Gill, Drew Woodburn, Elwood Chesta, Luke Jackson, Mark Ziesmer, Micah Evans, Nate Gehrke, Nick Brzezniak, Nolan Morrill, Sawyer Krause, Yousef Tadros, and Zackary Lea as the Knights relied on depth and balance to close out the win.
