Lincoln-Way Central High School honored 15 student-athletes on Monday during its Spring College Signing Day, recognizing their commitments to compete at the collegiate level.
Among the signees, AJ Ackerson will continue his golf career at North Central College after a standout senior season, while Colin Alvers (Augustana) and Dylan Brannigan (Illinois Wesleyan) will advance in men’s volleyball. Matty Bettenhausen, a defensive anchor in soccer, signed with Ripon College, and Jaimee Bolduc, a hard-working softball standout, committed to Southeastern Community College.
Track and field stars Cameryn Friedl (Washington University) and Kyle Friedl (DePaul) also celebrated their futures, alongside Jack Galminas (North Central). Luca Stevens (soccer, Loras College) and Tyler Tulk (football, North Central) will continue competing in top programs.
Additional signees include Logan Davies (Wisconsin Lutheran), Andrew Fabian (St. Xavier), and Braeden Fawcett (UW-Stevens Point) for men’s volleyball, as well as Abigail Willoughby (cheer, Missouri State).
Coaches praised the athletes’ work ethic, leadership, and resilience, and students expressed heartfelt thanks to families, teammates, and mentors.
