Lincoln-Way Central delivered an explosive offensive performance in a 13–3 victory over York, with a decisive six-run inning. The Knights set the tone early with consistent contact at the plate and never let up, finishing with 13 hits in a well-rounded team effort. Leading the charge, Luke Tingley and Des Gill each went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Austin Welch and Conor McCabe also contributed to the scoring push by 2-for-4 performance, adding two runs each. On the mound, Will Kedzior controlled the game with six strikeouts over four innings, limiting York’s opportunities. The Knights showcased their ability to dominate in all phases of the game and handed York its first loss of the season.
Today, the Knights travel to Batavia for a conference game at 11 a.m. It was nearly a year ago when Lincoln-Way Central hosted and defeated the Batavia Bulldogs by a score of 8-6.
