Lincoln‑Way Central fell 12–11 to Metea Valley in a boys water polo matchup.

Freshman goalie Zach Fritz anchored the Knights with eight saves, keeping Lincoln-Way Central within striking distance throughout a tight contest. Lincoln-Way Central’s roster as listed on the Knights’ athletics website features a young but sizable core, including 6‑7 goalie Gavin Schindler, 6‑5 point/hole set Daniel Fiske, and 6‑3 hole set Caleb Sturm, supported by a deep rotation of wings and flats such as Dylan Ragland, Joshua Torri, Leo Kornmuller, Devin Canavan, and Dylan Ford.

The Knights and Porters last met on March 20, 2025, when Lincoln-Way Central rolled to an 18-9 home conference win.
