The Lincoln-Way Central Knights delivered a decisive performance on Friday night, defeating Waubonsie Valley 37-7 in a SouthWest Suburban Conference home matchup held in New Lenox, Illinois.
The game occurred on October 17, 2025, at Lincoln-Way Central High School. After a scoreless first quarter characterized by strong defensive efforts from both teams, the Knights’ offense gained momentum in the second quarter with several significant plays. A long run set up a short rushing touchdown to initiate the scoring, and Lincoln-Way Central maintained their momentum by adding two more touchdowns before halftime, establishing a 17-0 lead.
