On Saturday, Feb. 28, at 4:30 p.m., former Lincoln-Way Central High School standout Jalese Hays’ current college team, the Lindenwood Lions, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Green Bay Phoenix.

The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

Hays allowed one earned run over 4.1 innings, recording one walk and two strikeouts.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 1, at 2 p.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Green Bay Phoenix.
