On Saturday, Feb. 28, former Lincoln-Way Central High School standouts Jack Novak and Michael Gurgone’s current college team, the Illinois Wesleyan Titans, lost 6-18 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Rhodes Lynx.

The game took place at Stauffer Field. This was their first matchup against the Lynx this season.

The Titans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Stauffer Field against Rhodes Lynx.

Jack Novak — Outfielder — Junior — 6′1″

Michael Gurgone — Pitcher and infielder — Sophomore — 6′2″
