McKenzie Steinke, Emmy Hoselton and Abby Kunz also punched their tickets to state, helping the Knights build a decisive margin over the competition as the tournament progressed.
The collective effort reflected Lincoln-Way Central’s balance of experience and preparation, as consistent performances across the lineup allowed the Knights to outpace the second-place team by 45 points.
Up next, Lincoln-Way Central will compete at the IHSA Girls Individual State Finals scheduled for Feb. 27–28 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
